Basicly i've had this idea for some time already and now im starting to search if there is a way to accomplish this. The whole idea would be to create a variable that captures the changelog (that's the easy part) and then appending that variable content to a global changelog file. I tried this and it works in windows commandline: But this does not work in ketarin: It seems that it's trying to execute every command separately: Im not sure.Perhaps i've overlooked something simple here but sorry.It's 30+ degrees heat here today and that's defenetly too much for a northern european persons braing to function correctly

More often then not i need to clear the log before running some command to test if it works, so it's tedius that i have to search beginning of this command from all the output already written there. So i was thinking maybe rightclick menu option in Log window to clear the log?

Unfortunately no.It might have been a one-off thing.I'll look more closely if it happens again but i doubt it. Also i didnt change any settings that might have caused this.

Yeah i've used it for a while now.Gives a very easy overview of what extensions my apps are using and since most other extensions exept .exe have the same icon then it looks good too. Mostly tho it's useful for me as it groups extractable apps together such as .zip or .7z and allows me to check if extraction commands are ok or to update extraction commands for all of them. Currently at 165 apps total.

I quite like the default icons actually .Makes it easy to see what type it is. You can also add following custom column (File-Settings) to sort apps by their extension: Name: File Extension Variable: {file:ext}

I don't know about this.The rightclick menu is populated with several items already.I suppose if and when custom hotkeys are implemented in future then it would be doable. But currently you could add the script to Setup-Add Instruction-Custom command and execute it from rightclick menu with "Install"

I can confirm this.Not possible to change existing Category name (just uppercase or lowecase) without Ketarin restart.

Yeah filehosting sites really are a pain.That's partly why i suggested this feature I have an app that has filehosting links.I prefer Mediafire links if possible because they don't have wait times and captcha. So i created a variable that captures the version and set Ketarin to notify by checking when that variable content changes. Then created another variable that captures the Mediafire URL and set it as app url in Ketarin. Also i added the following userscript to Firefox: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/65655 This script autostarts download when Mediafire link is opened and closes the Mediafire tab after download has started. So the end result is: *I see update in Ketarin. *Doubleclick the app. *The url is loaded in Firefox. *Download from MF is started and the tab closes.

I noticed 1.6 is no longer Beta.It's was pushed as stable and both read 1.6.0.434 now

Even more advanced would be dedicated hotkey section where you can assing custom keys or key combos for major functions.

Yep i noticed i had bunch of Antiviruses on my app list after upgrading to Beta 6 Apparently any new app that was created with Beta 5 was given category Antivirus regardless of the setting. Changed these to correct values and the regex thing is fixed too.Thx for the update

Or re-use the yellow triangle with the exclamation mark and text something like: unable to determine if setup completed That way it won't show success and it won't error out either but rather informs and urges the user to check wheter the program installed successfully.So far all code 1 programs have installed for me atleast. Also small other thing.Only happens in virtual machine if drive letter are not always correct: 00:00 AppName: Setup failed (Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1). error CS0006: Metadata file 'path to ketarin.exe' could not be found)

Yeah forum defenetly needs user cleanup.The longer the wait the more work it takes in the end.~6 months ago 797 users.Now over 2000 already.The registration proccess needs a much better CAPTCHA or possibly the whole forum needs as better software to run at. EDIT: for example avidemux forum seems to run the same software.They have over 4000 users but only ~1400 users with 1 or less posts.We have over 2000 users and i counted no less than over ~1900 users with 1 or less posts

Works for me: It has not been implemented yet.I did file a feature request for this some time ago.The general settings export/import works as expected tho.
