This is more tricky, but possible. The problem is, that both the file name and location change on a regular basis. Thus, you'll have to extract a fresh download location every time. Create a variable "filename". From the page http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AD724AE0-E72D-4F54-9AB3-75B8EB148356&displaylang=en extract everything between "window.open('" and "'". Then, use "{filename}" as download URL. I've also added this application to the online database now.

Well, I can't do that. Without .NET, Ketarin couldn't even show an error message.

Nope, global variables are just "constants", user defined strings like file locations or command templates.

The problem appears to be the fact that Ketarin does not submit a user agent. I'll fix that for the next version.

Well, if you didn't import anything, you cannot get any updates on imported applications. Seems reasonable to me.

It's not gone. If it does not pop up, maybe there is an error? It would appear in the log then. If there is no error, it just doesn't mind any updates. Maybe you didn't import and applications from the online database?

The log is not currently saved anywhere. What worries me more is that Ketarin terminates, because it shouldn't do that as .NET application. I should probably add an error dialog with a reporting feature as in CDBurnerXP when I get the time. The issue should be fixed now.

Well, there is not much I can do about the update "problem": You could create your own jobs (not using the one from the application database, or create a copy of them), but this feature is *meant* to change the URL if necessary. For example, the website of an application might change and thus the URLs and variables. If you then update from the online database, you don't have to do any adjustments yourself. Of course, this will overwrite the changes you made to an application. So after finishing all downloads, does the "Cancel" button go back to normal? Could you possibly copy and paste the log (now that there is one )?
