  1. You'll have to add quotes around the variable.
  2. Sounds like some post 1.0 stuff. Currently, I believe that there are not a lof of people using Ketarin per SSH or even SSH at all on Windows
  3. I'll create a new sub-form. Also, future versions of Ketarin will replace global variables before uploading them to the online database. This does not alter your own application though.
  4. No, that's certainly not a wow factor You could - for the time being - add a prefix like [Z] to the application name and then sort by application name.
  5. I reuploaded the beta now with a couple of changes. Have fun
  6. Well, so far all of those requests - except for 3, which will be available in the next version - seem rather for releases in the distant future. Currently, for 1.0, I'm looking for small and easy to implement ideas which increase the "wow-effect" when using Ketarin for the first time
  7. 4) The version is no predefined variable. It may or may not exist, depending on your variables and the download type. 5) Not for now. Before that, we probably need to get some extensibility feature for external sources and then we'll see.
  8. I don't like sub menus. This requires more clicks to actually insert a variable. Also, you should rarely have that many variables.
  9. First of all, there are no {md5} or {sha1} variables implemented yet. Once this is one, I could think about copying or moving (what should it actually do?) existing files which can be determined as identical instead of downloading them. Not a quick fix.
  10. The multi line editor seems like a really neat idea for Ketarin I'll consider that for future releases.
  11. @FranciscoR: Sorry, but I don't get your idea with CRCs, MDB and SHA1 Regarding the scrollbars: They are necessary. The scrollbars need to be there if the content exceeds the screen space, and won't be shown automatically on demand. A textbox without scrollbar is not nice.
  12. Are you sure? Actually, the { and } are removed before using this variable anyway.
  13. @FranciscoR: This is because Ketarin wants to make sure that the file exists at the location you specified in the application definition. If you want to move the file to somewhere else, you'll also have to adjust the application, not only rename the file. @CybTekSol: If you enter a RegEx which takes too long to compute...well, I guess you'll have to live with such problems for the moment
  14. @FranciscoR: This is more or less intentional to prevent flicker. I could also show a progress dialog, but that doesn't seem worth it currently.
  15. Hi all, here is a new beta version of Ketarin: http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/downloads/Ketarin/Ketarin-0.9.9.21.zip Please have a look at it before I do a release. Also, create a backup of your database before you use this version, because there is quite some database upgrading being done.
  16. Yeah, this is because empty variables are just ignored. I'll change that for the next version a bit.
  17. Nope, not yet. That's actually the (quite annoying) default implementation by .NET.
  18. There is such a command. Just use "Enter". I don't think that I'll implement custom shortcuts.
  19. Global variables work fine for me. The f: variables are only meant to work for the target location.
  20. This will be added to the next version. You can only specify one variable, but you can of course create a compound variable which contains the values of multiple variables.
  21. You don't do a checkout, but an "update". Your changes will be preserved.
  22. Yeah...right now I think that copy+paste will pretty much do the job.
