How do you mean? Try both protocols and see what works? And what error do you actually get?

BTW in regard to the current release status: An addon for this forum that allows to view and moderate uploaded applications is currently WIP and should be available soon. When Ketarin is adjusted for the new system, I'll release a final 1.7 version.

For what purpose do you actually need it? I guess it's not too hard setting something up with TightVNC for free...

So far I have included all (acceptable ) code in the beta version though so you don't need to resort to unofficial versions.

Ah works now. Could you possibly also make this without a static variable? I'm pretty sure this can mess up because Ketarin uses multiple threads for downloading.

Yeah beta detection will get another fix, but it will be a bit hard to do completely right because all versions are now spread among multiple pages and Ketarin would have to scroll through all the pages. If a non-beta version is not on the first page, Ketarin won't find any suitable version. I think I'm too lazy right now to implement that

BTW I am already in contact with some devs. Will let one of them do the job within the next few days.
