Omniferum
Would it be possible to change the retry behavior to retry after the current list of apps have done instead of immediately? That way it gives the server a break and an actual period of time for whatever caused the failure in the first place to rectify itself. If an app fails I only need to try it 10 seconds later anyway and it works fine, doing it this way may lessen having to manually sort the failed ones and 'updating' them. floele
Would make coding a little more complicated for me...how feel others about it?
Tomorrow
This would be nice indeed but it's not something i'll miss terribly.Mostly there are few that fail so manually selecting them is not much of a problem for me.
Omniferum
It could just be a simple sort by failure at end of current update and highlight all in category, re-run update for that category rinse, repeat for the number of times in the retry field. A rather more slap dash way of doing it.
shawn
This would probably work better for me, but I'd hate the lose the option to have retries happen immediately. It would be best to have a checkbox for each app to select if you want it to retry immediately, or delay until after the current cycle.
sjl1986
I agree with Shawn on this one. Would be best to have one for each app. I have one app "File Recovery" by SoftPerfect which fails on the first try every time and works immediately afterwards. I thought about just putting the same app in the list twice so it will fail the first time and work on the second one, but this would be a nice feature. Ditto for me, Flo plus maybe disabling retry for an app with the checkbox as well...
Omniferum
What would serve the same purpose is having a global setting of "time between retries" There is one for connection timeout, just adding one for this purpose might be an easier solution
