OLLI_S
Hello, I just had a quick look at Ketarin and I like the idea behind this application. It does not need to be installed. It does not scan the computer for installed software. It does not require a database that manages the available version. I tried to manually add the Download URL for CCleaner. I wanted to add the URL not from Filehippo, because I need to understand the technique behind Ketarin. What I miss here is a Wiki where you get a "tutorial" for many applications. Like the tutorial that you offer but for other applications, like CCleaner or Total Commander. In the forum I did not find anything for those applications (just doing a quick search). So, please consider such a Wiki where you publish tutorials for many applications. And maybe you offer templates to download. josh
Hi OLLI! - Yes you are right, Ketarin is the best! - Regarding the error you got i suggest you post application XML so we can look at it and help; - Regarding Wiki, i don't think so, Ketarin is freeware and all the work you see in this forum is done by volunteers (but in many circunstances way better than "professional helpers"); so i suggest you read (if needed) Documentation To know more head to Tips and Tutorials Templates (this section is for advanced users) For all other questions Search is your friend. Best regards!
shawn
Note also that there is an online database of templates which are free to use as a guide. Click the drop-down option next to "add new application" in the bottom left corner of Ketarin and select "import from online database". Search for what you want, or just hit "top 50" to see the most popular templates.
floele
If we'd create a tutorial for each application, most of them would probably get outdated sooner or later.
