I don't want to load the list when opening the dialog to prevent any delays. 2) might be useful when using the dialog multiple times in a row.
-
Has been asked before, will consider it but seems unimportant at the moment
-
So...you can either use relative paths, or use {root} (see tutorial).
-
Note to 3: I just checked, actually, relative paths are supported (for target locations, not commands). They should work.
-
Why not use global variables? You can also use these for 3. Relative paths are not currently supported, I might consider adding them, relative to the application startup path.
-
You have to use "{Target}" (or "{Target}\Category\...") as download location for each of the applications. There is no "special" variable.
-
Usually, there should be some kind of error information available. Try to examine the details of that error report. It should at least contain the name of the exception.
You only need the EXE and the SQLite DLL in one folder.
-
@Stalker: Yes, I think that I can change that.
@FranciscoR: Nope. Can you possibly show some screenshots?
-
Works for me. Maybe you forgot a trailing slash? Or forgot about case sensitivity?
-
1. You should use absolute paths. Regarding relative paths, I wouldn't know to what they should be relative.
2. It does output something. You have no option to redirect it somewhere else per option.
3. Work for me. Make sure that you are using the latest version.
4. OK.
5. Yep, might be useful.
6. Don't like this idea too much currently.
7. Well, you should get used to it The previous icon was just a generic one, bought as part of an icon set from VirtualLNK. Not the best option, in particular, the icon was not allowed to be used anywhere else. And I like the new icon :-p
Thanks for your feedback

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command_line_interface
How does a tray icon make updating faster? Do you want to check for updates multiple times a day and have Ketarin running all day?
-
You just open Ketarin per command line using the arguments mentioned above.
Currently, I don't see for what you'd need a tray icon if not in command line mode.
-
Yes, I know. That's why I added the question mark
-
Currently, it is only possible when in command line mode (/SILENT /NOTIFY).
-
The icons will appear when the list is refreshed. This happens if you add a new application or restart Ketarin. Maybe a "Refresh" option would be useful?
-
You just enter it. Basically, the Category field is only a textbox where you can enter any text you like.
-
The list will only contain the categories you have already used.
-
Done now.
Hope you like the new icon as well
-
You might want to try the latest version in your case. There have been some improvements recently.
-
Could you try updating to the latest version of Ketarin? It works fine for me.
Regarding the crash: On some systems, it really seems that .NET applications crash. In fact, however, they don't and so far I didn't find out what is different on those systems.
-
Currently, I do not plan it, but maybe it's worth for 1.x.
-
Why not use the FileHippo-ID? I can't see the full URL in the screenshot. Also, Ketarin would never crash, but in the worst case show a .NET error message (which contents would be of some interest for me).
-
You need to replace all %XY with the corresponding decoded chars. For example, the URL above should start with http://

How does Ketarin work ?

Updated will be recognised if either the file date or file size changes. For FileHippo, a change of the MD5 is also considered.
