Yes, adding groups (if I let someone rewrite the module) would indeed a good idea to get a better picture of the applications list. Some moderator would have to group applications manually though...would anyone actually be willing to do that?

Can you maybe give me the exact error message? At this point I cannot imagine a situation, where Ketarin would try to request the downloaded content using it as URI. And maybe the application XML? Might be related to how you configured the downloading process.

How exactly do you run the e-mail notification? There is no built-in functionality.

how do you feel about the "applications" app in this forum?

It's been available for quite a while now and I didn't get a lof of feedback in this regard. Does anyone actually use it? Is it worth being ported to the new version of IPB?
We need to upgrade this forum soon in order to install a newer version of PHP on this server and I do not plan of spending resources on rewriting this addon if no one needs it.

I think you set up one of your applications in such a way that Ketarin cannot deal with it. I suppose the error happens while downloading a certain application, right? If so, please either send me the application to check (export as XML) or your whole database (but name the app).

I would assume that the file access is a bit problematic here (in regard to performance). Also, accessing it while writing to the file might not be a good idea either. For the custom coulmn, you should use the cached variable content.
It shouldn't crash though. At worst, there should be an error message.

@MAPJe71: Yes. I somehow need to filter these variables for downloaded applications (though this will of course limit what you can do with downloaded applications), or at least have a warning message

OK, I will make the following constructor public:
public UrlVariable(string name, ApplicationJob.UrlVariableCollection collection)
Second argument requires you to pass in the Variables property of an application. Also, you have to call the Save() method on the application after doing that, otherwise the variable will be lost.

Yes, last output is used.c) It has access to the current application and global vars, just like any other PS script.

Missing table added. Moderating happens within this forum (IPB), we have a custom module which allows deleting apps from the database.
