jasonvogel
I can go to the page: http://stashbox.org/v/202688/blackglass.zip Click on the link: http://www.stashbox.org/202688/blackglass.zip and I get the file.. I put the URL: http://www.stashbox.org/202688/blackglass.zip in Ketarin and I get "The downloaded file is not a binary file type (text/html; charset=UTF-8). Possibly there is an error page. Status code: 200 (OK) (http://www.stashbox.org/202688/blackglass.zip)" Any ideas? Jason
Stalker
Well, the link goes not to the actual file but to the download page. What else would you expect ?
andreone
The link goes to the download page the first time. The second time, it's the file. Cleanup your cookies: the link goes to the download page. There's something with the cookie, but I don't know what.
jasonvogel
The link goes to the download page the first time. The second time, it's the file. Cleanup your cookies: the link goes to the download page. There's something with the cookie, but I don't know what. You're right. If you paste the "direct" link in... http://www.stashbox.org/202688/blackglass.zip, it routes you to http://www.stashbox.org/v/202688/blackglass.zip BUT ONLY if you haven't been to the page before. I didn't notice the different behavior until switching browsers. Good catch. So I would have thought pasting "http://www.stashbox.org/v/202688/blackglass.zip" into the "before command" execute window would 'trick' the cookie into being written, but it doesn't. Any ideas? Stalker
Why not to use the direct link, the one you get with a cookie ?
jasonvogel
Why not to use the direct link, the one you get with a cookie ? Sounds good, but I don't know how. What should the Keratin syntax be? There are 3 cookies for me from stashbox: Cookie Information - http://stashbox.org/v/202688/blackglass.zip http://stashbox.org/v/202688/blackglass.zip 3 cookies Name __qca Value 486a9a1f-6910a-918d2-5ba55 Host .stashbox.org Path / Secure No Expires Mon, 18 Jan 2038 00:00:00 GMT Name __qcb Value 1080980711 Host .stashbox.org Path / Secure No Expires At End Of Session Name PHPSESSID Value 491206cf96978b38d094054211de63d1 Host stashbox.org Path / Secure No Expires Fri, 15 May 2009 15:52:07 GMT
Stalker
Hmm, it seems like the link is http://stashbox.org/202688/blackglass.zip but it still won't work without the cookie. And it seems Ketarin doesn't support cookies. I tried creating a dummy variable which should load the page (to create a cookie) and then when the actual download starts the cookie will be present and the actual file will be returned but with no avail. jasonvogel
Yeah, I think we all ended up in the same place. I opened this as an enhancement request. Thanks for all the research support. Jason
floele
The next version will allow downloading from this location. The number of retries should be 2 at minimum though, since the first attempt only stores the cookie.
CybTekSol
The next version will allow downloading from this location.
