Drop-down menu from placeholder "value"

Any easy way to implement a drop down menu from a placeholder value like this ?

Certainly doable, but I'm not sure that it makes sense. Usually, you'd want to use your own categories anyway.

What i am suggesting is to give user the ability to create a drop-down menu using ANY custom value content. Value above is just an example. Providing i am using placeholders almost everywhere, e.g not only with the category tag, i could also use it to display and select between regex alternatives when creating an application from template, alternative commands, etc.

 

Would be nice to have a drop-down menu behaviour similar to category menu in the edit window...

A scrollable 'drop-down menu' that is populated with the user's existing categories using a 'placeholder' would be awesome for me Flo!

For me (and for the moment), 'drop-down menu' would work for:

 

- Categories

 

- Classes

 

- Commands

 

- Regexes

 

- Paths

 

- File Renames

 

 

Wish i could start using it right away ! =)
