Weird to say the least...

Flo,

 

1. I have this file on HDD and although version has not changed, on update #1 Ketarin tells me that 'update is required' because 'file modified dates do not match'. =)

 

2. I check file date with CNET server (which is exactly the same), so I decide not to update by introducing {version} as CIV. On update #2 Ketarin tells me that 'date and file size remain unchanged' :o

 

3. So I remove CIV and perform update #3: and again Ketarin tells me that 'update is not required'. :P

 

Thoughts ? :rolleyes:

It actually may happen that the file provided by the server varies. For example, the date might be the "uploaded" date. If there are multiple servers, the "uploaded" date might vary and this cause multiple updates. Observed this with FileHippo occasionally.
