qc_metal
Would be very cool to have Ketarin to allow us to: Specify a root folder for downloads Create and verify subfolders based upon categories Create and verify subfolders (under category) based upon name of application I'm having to create my folders first and then go back into Ketarin and paste the structure. Seems like a trivial thing, but would be a HUGE timesaver. This app is GREAT! Thanks for this.
floele
> Specify a root folder for downloads Why not define a global variable? > Create and verify subfolders based upon categories Why not do it? Use {rootfolder}\{category}\{appname}.{url:ext} as file path for any application you want to integrate into that structure. > I'm having to create my folders first You don't have to. > This app is GREAT! qc_metal
But...unless I missed something, Ketarin didn't actually create the folders I set up through the add dialog? I mean, it used the variables, but errored out unless I manually created the folders. Thanks again for your response. I appreciate it! floele
It will create those folders when necessary.
CybTekSol
It will create those folders when necessary. Flo... when I first began using Ketarin, it would only create the folder structure ONE layer beneath an existing folder... it would balk at TWO layers... I don't know if this is still the case as all of my downloads folder structure is complete.
