  1. Do you think many people use copy file dialog in setup tab? I ask this because i haven't used it before since i prefer to use the custom script dialog, but i find it's environment variables drop down menu very handy - any chance of migrating this menu or to have it also in custom script dialog...?

  2. I did try that (problem is with commands)

    D:\USB-Toolkit>... --dir=\USB-Toolkit\Test\OpenOffice.{url:ext} "http://openoffice.mirrorbrain.org/extended/3.3.0rc1/OOo_3.3.0rc1_20101015_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe"

    D:\USB-Toolkit>... --dir=\USB-Toolkit\Test\{url:filename} "http://openoffice.mirrorbrain.org/extended/3.3.0rc1/OOo_3.3.0rc1_20101015_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe"

  3. {file:filename}

    {file:ext}

    are not resolved when using

    -http://openoffice.mirrorbrain.org/files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Win_x86_install_en-US.exe-

    BTW please fix search toolbar behaviour ASAP, today i installed a couple of applications in my old PC w a Pentium 4 3GHz and 512 RAM and it took me +10 seconds to type each letter: i-n-c-o-m-m-a-n-d-:-s-f this is quite annoying. Why this delay? Both Firefox and Chromium parse sqlite db's w +3500 bookmarks and in comparison with Ketarin they are 1000% faster.

  4. Hope you don't consider this offensive, but why did you decide to include "Apply" in options window in CDBurnerXP? IMO is less needed in CDBurnerXP since none has to do script edits (commands, setup instructions), add or remove deployment notes, etc. in that window.

  5. I just don't want to add an "Apply" because I can, I want to do it because I should

    That is always subjective. I asked button for a reason, and that reason is i lost changes. But like i said, that's not terribly important to me, so i suggested you to skip it. Moving on, some people is getting nervous.

  6. Hi Gozi,

    I think you are misunderstooding how Ketarin works.

    I suggest you start by reading wiki (or older documentation in CDBurnerXP site).

    As for sourceforge downloads, you need to read the following thread before proceeding http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=557

    Even though it is possible to download UNetbootin using Ketarin, currently it is not possible to use SF protocol with {preupdate-url} variable. Using other variables it is possible to do it, however you cannot use that URI scheme.

  7. Since exit 2 was implemented recently i don't have loads of experience with it and most likely some bugs exist. Using Wget, i did some quick testing with other variables, even with Filehippo ID with an empty URL and i did not experience any problem. I did some testing w cURL yesterday, it seems to work as Wget, only problem i found is it seem to have some sort of sub-directory limitation to write output file. Sorry if i can't assist you any further but i do not use this app.

  8. Did you download Windows compiled version with dependencies? Anyway i didn't know cURL, but after a quick search i see it supports a lot more protocols than Wget

    HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP, TFTP, LDAP, LDAPS, DICT, TELNET, FILE · IMAP, POP3, SMTP and RTSP

    who knows maybe someday i start tracking downloads via POP3 or IMAP :) Also found a comparison done by cURL developer, it does seem interesting. I will be testing this soon thanks for sharing.
