bor4c
There should be an option for defining a file path for jobs.db, so it can be used as portable application.
Stalker
There already is. From documentation: Portability If you consider .NET applications (which require the .NET framework) portable, you can consider Ketarin to be portable as well. It doesn't need an installation, so you can run it from any location you like. By default, Ketarin will create a database file in %appdata%/Ketarin, so that it is a per-user database. You can also move this file to the application path (where Ketarin.exe is located), then it will always use the database from the startup location and is thus suited for USB sticks or the like. Command line options You can also run Ketarin from command line. These arguments are available: /database=FILENAME Starts Ketarin with the specified database /export=FILENAME Exports the whole Ketarin database as XML to the specified location /log=FILENAME On exit, Ketarin saves the log as file to the specified location /notify (additional to /SILENT) Ketarin will show an icon in the task bar /silent No GUI is shown and Ketarin updates all available applications
FranciscoR
You can also create a shortcut for Ketarin.exe with right click and 'send to' (for instance, to desktop). Then go to Properties and in the Shortcut tab, in Target field, insert desired argument as shown below. Lately I've been using ObjectDock, the procedure is similar (in example below I'm starting Ketarin with the log argument): Edited August 27, 2009 by FranciscoR
CybTekSol
Yes indeed bor4c, Ketarin is quite capable of portability as Stalker and FranciscoR has described and can even be tweaked for specialized use such as the 'Tech Toolkit' demonstrates. (it runs Ketarin from a thumb drive to create a portable diagnostics/techie gem) Stalker referenced it in this post.
