I have a Norton Removal Tool item which I got from the Ketarin online database. It downloads ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe, which is a working URL. For a couple of months it hasn't worked. The error is "Norton Removal Tool The remote server returned an error: 227 Entering Passive Mode. (199,2,204,123,185,86) . (ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe)". Same with the latest beta. I suppose I can gin something up that uses wget, but it would be nice to avoid that.

I'm trying to download the latest KeePass ZIP file. At http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepass/files/ there's a page which contains "http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepass/files/KeePass%202.x/2.16/KeePass-2.16-Setup.exe/download". I'd like to set up a "MajorVersion" variable which is preceded by "http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepass/files/KeePass%20" and folllowed by ".x/". However, whan I try to select the preceding text Ketaring insists on slecting the folowing "2". i.e. it selects "http://sourceforge.net/projects/keepass/files/KeePass%202". What to do?

I'm trying to download Remove Fake Antivirus (http://freeofvirus.blogspot.com/), a great item for the antimalware toolbox.. The download is from a file sharing site http://www.box.net/shared/p33obaovi6 and as of today the actual download link is http://www.box.net/index.php?rm=box_download_shared_file&file_id=f_346262687&shared_name=p33obaovi6'>http://www.box.net/index.php?rm=box_download_shared_file&file_id=f_346262687&shared_name=p33obaovi6 (found near the "Download" button at the top right). I've tried loading http://www.box.net/index.php into a variable and the POST items into "POST data" .I can't seem to get it to work. I'm also worried that the POST data may change if he uploads a new version. I have some knowledge of programming but I've never tired writing something for Ketarin. I don't suppose someone could easily knock off a template that extracts that POST data from the page and download the file ...

Using Ketarin 1.0.6.272 on Vista Ultimate x86 fully patched. Almost all of my Ketarin downloads are from File Hippo. Every time I run Ketarin I get: sometime early in the process, but apparently not associated with any particular download. If I just leave that window open Ketarin continues to download until it's done. There's always some failed downloads. Huh?
