[Anyone have a tip for downloading a whole page of updates?]

OK, I solved this by using a portable version of firefox with the DownloadThemAll addon installed. It works pretty awesome actually. Thought I'd let you all know. Thanks.

I don't think Ketarin can do it but figure someone here probably has. How would you go about downloading the entire contents of the page and then checking for updates later?

lol! Thanks Tomorrow. You hit on every pain point I ran into. I couldn't agree more. Almost every driver site is a GIANT pain in the ass to use with a keyboard and mouse. They make it a million steps to get what you need and then provide hideously slow servers. My hope was Ketarin could help, and for the most part it has. For the pirate Realtek, not so much... :-)

Today is my first foray into Ketarin and I'm loving it.

 

The app I'm attempting to create a section for is Actual Multiple Monitors. The download URL is http://www.actualtools.com/hfiles/ammsetup.exe and the file name never includes the version number. How do I approach this? A "no version information" example isn't discussed in the Basics section of the wiki.

 

Does Ketarin check the file size for differences in determining a new version? Maybe this is a stupid question as it seems this would be the primary way Ketarin would know the file is different.

 

The website http://www.actualtools.com/multiplemonitors contains some text with the current version number. Would that only be used to create variables to generate the download url and change the saved file name if desired?
