    <UserNotes>BootSafe is a utility to restart Windows in Safe Mode

Purpose:  To save you from tapping F8 like a fool, or for missing your F8 opportunity!

Yes, you can turn on safe mode with networking in a few clicks in msconfig.exe too, but it’s *more* clicks. Better still, to restore the default boot to normal mode functionality, you need to do nothing further! Once started in Safe Mode with Networking, you will automatically restart in Normal Mode on the next reboot.

Usage:  Simply run BootSafe and it will ask you which safe mode you would like to start in; if you choose the Modify and Reboot option, then that’s exactly what it does. You will be returned to normal mode on your next restart.

Why? How? On a subsequent run of this program, if it has already configured your system to start in safe mode, it will undo the changes. (it runs itself once you start in safe mode, thereby removing the safe mode modifications it has made to the boot.ini or BCD, allowing you to start in Normal Mode next time you reboot the usual way.)

Portable Use:  This program may be run from a flash drive, CD, or other portable means by simply copying BootSafe.exe to your portable medium.
