- User Notes Screen-Logger Simulation Test Program This test program simulates the activities of a screen-logger. If your security software is protecting you proactively, then the simulation should trigger a warning message. No warning means no proactive protection... and probably no protection at all! If the simulation does not trigger a warning, then your current security software does not protect you against screen loggers. However, if you download and install Zemana Antilogger, and then try the test, you get a warning like this: Webcam Logger Test Step 1 Download and run the program. NOTE: The password of the zip files is 'zemana'. The reason we set password to zip files is because Antivirus programs intentionally add leak tests as a signature and block them. Step 2 To start the test, click Start. Step 3 If your current software blocks screen loggers, then it will issue an alert like this: (We've cheated by using AntiLogger, which really does block screen loggers.) Since it's only a simulation, and does not store any information, allow it to continue. Step 4 The window displays your screen in real time, including an image of itself... try not to get lost in the recursion! Of course, a real screen logger would pipe this to somebody else, and in the frame might be your bank account.
