  1. So what exactly is the problem with doing what you have shown? I do kinda have a similar although less complex layout.
  2. In order to do a bulk modifications of the settings you can export your app list to XML and modify it in any text editor.
  3. Well, now that I read it that sounded a bit hostile. Sorry for that. Anyway to see the version for all applications you need to scrape it first. For information how to do that you might wanna read the stuff at the following links: http://cdburnerxp.se/help/kb/20 http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=84 http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=293 http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=315
  4. For version you don't use, {ver}, {v} but use {version}. This way FileHippo jobs will also display the version. And you won't look like a very lazy person not wanting to type extra letters. And follow standards for templates.
  5. You can just write the template once and reuse it for all new jobs.
  6. For this one, I agree this could be useful in situations like yours, when the packages are not shared between users or machines. You have my vote. I think an idea was floating around here somewhere that when CIV was specified it was used to check if the file should be download, not the file presence on the disk. Or something to that extent.
  7. This was made as a feature request to behave exactly this way. Otherwise selecting all and pressing "Update" would just update all, including disabled.
  8. There already is. From documentation:
  9. Then again, this is absolutely different from what CybTekSol requested.
  10. How VERY specific can it be? I mean all I do is use after-download commands to execute an external tool.
  11. I mean any event that would trigger Errors window to appear. /error switch would not be useful for me in any way because I use a custom logger application. Again, I use custom logger application so I would personally prefer a variable which I can use in "Execute after all updates" command. It may even be something as {summary:errors}, {summary:successful} etc.
  12. Bump. I really miss this feature. I am running Ketaring on home server box and I don't know whether or not there were any update errors until I decide to do my maintenance routine. Which is usually once a month.
  13. Well, personally my programming practice shows that shortening variable names leads to more headache in the end.
  14. Yeah, I easily chose google because it had the most relevant results. Bing was all about keratin. I've tried to use Bing a few times for regular searches and the results were hardly good. Also the layout of the search results Suck. From capital S.
  15. I am also in favor of the idea.
