shawn
Thanks, Flo! Can you add an exit code 4 that *does* trigger the after-update command - but in every other way acts like code 3?
floele
Whatfor would you need that? When Ketarin executes the after upgrade script, the external application will not yet have finished, if that is what you are doing.
shawn
I'm using an external logging script that alerts one of my servers (in order to update an RSS feed) that an update has been released. I don't currently use the exit codes and wget for downloading those apps that really need it (where there are multiple files), because there hasn't been a way to both use an external download script and still trigger the internal "after update" script that I require for monitoring. floele
Erm...so you only want the pre-update and post-update script to be run without downloading in between?
shawn
Exactly.
aurelio
+Special value "{categories}" for placeholder "options" attributeUse "{categories}" as value for "options" in a template placeholder to let the user choose from the list of categories instead of a custom list. This: <placeholder name="Software Category" value="" options="{categories}" /> or even this instead: <placeholder name="Software Category" options="{categories}" /> does not work for me here... (it seems it's not parsed - I get only one literal value of '{categories}' as an option) has this special variable been removed since then? TerDale
Hi, Beta 1 was posted almost 1 year ago, any schedule for an official release?
floele
Uploaded RC now
shawn
The wiki doesn't mention it, but the 1.6.1 builds also include the urlencode function. This is important for those situations when you need to push data thru a URL and not risk deforming it.
Guest wattpuppy
Would it be possible to give us a download link we can use within Ketarin? Like, http://ketarin.org/beta? I've tried parsing the forum topic but I'm not that good at regex's.
