{version:multireplace} not possible in custom column?[SOLVED]

Or i simply don't use multireplace correctly?

 

Should it be: {version:multireplace:a,b:1,2}

Meaning the delimiter is "," or do i have to specify delimiter?

Or is multireplace not supported in custom column?

I haven't tested this so I cannot help with it... Flo will have to answer this one. I use my templates to clean-up the version format for me so I can simply use {version} for the custom column.

to specify the delimiter you insert it before the array, like this

 

{version:multireplace:,:a,b:1,2}

 

even thought the link above references arrayreplace instead of multireplace, i followed the link from the how-to page so i'm guessing that multireplace is used instead of arrayreplace, if not you can just change the words

I have decided to do this UP-FRONT in my templates and app entries so that I can simply use {version} for my custom column and the apps will all be saved with version info to my liking. Got to love multireplace... eeeh?
