ksarnelli Posted January 23, 2018 Report Share Posted January 23, 2018 For the last two months or so I get the following error every time I try to load any URLs from https://mkvtoolnix.download MKVToolNix The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send. Exact URL is https://mkvtoolnix.download/downloads.html The URL works fine in browsers...seems to be somehow related to the configuration of SSL/TLS used on the site. shawn Posted January 24, 2018 Report Share Posted January 24, 2018 My guess is that they're blocking anything other than TLS 1.2, which seems to be a growing problem. You can try the registry hack from here, but be aware that it can affect other .NET apps on your computer as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
