gigtek
Just gone to update my apps and every one is returning the following error :- 7-Zip 32 The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. (http://www.filehippo.com/download_7zip_32/tech/) Also no longer seem to be able to right click on Filehippo download and get the required URL. Has Filehippo changed the way it works and so no longer functions with Ketarin?
Guest bitznpcz
I'm having the same problem... If you delete the application from Ketarin, it does download the first time, but fails for subsequent downloads... Filehippo was down for a few days, so guessing they've made some changes. A fix would be appreciated. Thanks

Guest jamesblue
I have tried it again, no changes to Ketarin and it has started working. I guess it was an issue with Filehippo, as it has not worked for for about a week
mikeparkie
I have the same issue here with about a dozen definitions failing to download.

shawn
This is an excellent time to remind everyone that file download services like FileHippo and SourceForge are pretty big baskets to put all your eggs into. I personally always attempt to get as close to the originating source as I possibly can, so as to avoid bulk issues should something like this happen -- whether it be an outage at FileHippo or a slight coding change that results in dozens of apps no longer working until you can debug and correct all the app profiles. I also use debugging within Ketarin to troubleshoot errant app profiles. For example, I use the following command in global pre-update: if "{version}"=="" echo ERROR /// {category:replace:&:^&} /// {appname:replace:&:^&} >> "Updates.txt" This ensures that I have the ability to review my update log (Updates.txt) for errors instead of manually checking for signals from Ketarin after each run.
