Connectivity issue when updating apps

Hi,

I'm new using Ketarin and trying some personalised settings, I'm updating constantly some of the apps (one at a time). Many times, when I do that, all other internet connections remain blocked. I cannot browse internet, chat with IM programs and also I cannot do any other internet-related things.

Everything comes to normal when the update finishes failing with timeout.

 

I've tried it with versions 0.9.9.4 and 0.9.9.5.

I don't think that I can do anything about that. I have the same problem with a certain FTP application when uploading for example.

I supposed that maybe Ketarin behaviour when connecting to the internet will be preventing other apps to work by allocating most of the resources of the computer (by using half-open connections, for example).

Can the connection way be revised ?

How many open connections does Ketarin manage at a time ?

Ketarin has as many connections as specified in the settings. You can reduce the number of threads to just 1 if necessary.
