floele
What does "can't open" mean? It works fine for me.
emil.sekula
Yes, before was OK but now I have some errors and I can't open main window.
Stalker
Could you please be more elaborate concerning "some errors"? What errors exactly? It is very hard to debug a problem when the only detail you have is that something doesn't work.
emil.sekula
Here you have them: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/8848/errorszz6.jpg.
floele
Could you also translate them for us?
emil.sekula
Yes, of course: Ketarin - the archive of destination "C:\Program Files\Ketarin" is a directory, not an archive. SuperAntiSpyware - the process can't obtain access to archive "C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware\SUPERAntiSpyware.exe" because is using by other process. Why do I have theses errors in Spanish ? floele
So, the error messages say it all: You are trying to save a download "as a file" at a location, which already exists and is a directory. Bad idea. Then, SUPERAntiSpyware.exe is being used. I can't tell you why. Maybe you are running a setup or the process is running in background or your AV scanner is checking it. The error messages use the default .NET framework language on your system.
emil.sekula
And how can I change this if I can't open main window: http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=750#p750 ? SUPERAntiSpyware is running all the time in my computer.
floele
Maybe press "close" and proceed to the main window?

emil.sekula
Yes, it close error window but then I can't open main window of program.
floele
Sure that it does not appear somewhere in the background (Alt+Tab)? You should at least be able to show it from the task bar. If all else fails, just start a new instance of Ketarin...
emil.sekula
Now I have recognize I can open it with 'Maximize' option: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=Pq354FCJ. But now I can have it only in full screen mode. Why can't I resize window of Ketarin ? Why do I have this error with SUPERAntiSpyware ? Its download source is from filehippo: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=Pq355svA.
floele
Well, sometimes Windows apps become "locked" in the task bar. After maximising, you should be able to have a normal window again if you choose the restore option (double click on title bar for example). emil.sekula
No, I can't get normal window doing it.
CybTekSol
No, I can't get normal window doing it. Are you using the latest beta of Ketarin (0.9.9.22 for 01-20-09)? I have never encountered any problem with Ketarin similar to this on two different PCs... I highly suspect it is related to how your PC is configured or another issue. Try disabling other unnecessary apps that may be running in the background as it could be a conflict issue. If the problem goes away... re-enable the apps one at a time to find the offending app. Hope this helps.
emil.sekula
Version 0.9.9.22 ? On the web page there is information: Ketarin is still work in progress. The latest version is 0.9.9.21. The unique problem is now I have I can't resize main window of Ketarin. Why do I have this error with SUPERAntiSpyware ? Its download source is from filehippo: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=Pq355svA.
floele
Why not try the following: Reboot your PC, try Ketarin again and tell me the exact steps you perform in order to produce your problems. I didn't get any such problems myself yet.
emil.sekula
It happens always. After rebooting PC too. The unique problem is now I have I can't resize main window of Ketarin. Problem with SUPERAntiSpyware is solved. I have put the file in other folder than C:\Program files\SUPERAntiSpyware.
floele
That doesn't make any sense to me. Are you sure, that you are not trying to resize the window while it is maximised?
emil.sekula
Well, it is not so important but I would like to work with Ketarin not in fullscreen mode and I can't do it.
CybTekSol
I am still convinced there is a conflict with another auto-starting application on your PC. Are you familiar with 'Startup Manager' apps such as AutoRuns by SysInternals or Starter by CodeStuff? If so, and you are comfortable with using them, temporarily disable unnecessary apps (usually user add-ons) at startup and see if it makes any difference. Note: Flo... I hope you don't mind me trying to help... I don't want to step on any toes.
floele
Nope, I don't mind at all since I don't have any reasonable clue atm.
