  1. Hello, I get the exact same problem with the latest 1.8.8 b4. It just started happening recently (within the past month) and it seems to only happen with FileHippo. All my other apps update fine. If there's any way I can help, please let me know. Thanks!
  2. When testing with 7-zip (x64), here's the log after I recreated the application from scratch, asked it to download the first time, then asked it to check for updates (but not download) a second time: 2/17/2016 10:22:04 AM: Update started with 1 application(s) 2/17/2016 10:22:05 AM: 7-zip (x64): Using referer: http://filehippo.com/download_7-zip_64/ 2/17/2016 10:22:05 AM: 7-zip (x64): Server source file: /download/file/186d81f030ce70c56332867fc9cc524534020a53f3f92b26d025dcc25c7209c7 2/17/2016 10:22:05 AM: 7-zip (x64): Determined target file name: C:\Users\Randy\Documents\USBkey\Programs_Tools\Ketarin\..\Common\7z-x64.msi 2/17/2016 10:22:05 AM: 7-zip (x64): Checking if update is required... 2/17/2016 10:22:05 AM: 7-zip (x64): Update required, file modified dates do not match 2/17/2016 10:22:15 AM: Update finished 2/17/2016 10:22:21 AM: Update started with 1 application(s) 2/17/2016 10:22:21 AM: 7-zip (x64): Using referer: http://filehippo.com/download_7-zip_64/ 2/17/2016 10:22:21 AM: 7-zip (x64): Server source file: /download/file/830f8979aaade4eb4110a611ccd34e77c800620eb184f242a73af6140d99a293 2/17/2016 10:22:21 AM: 7-zip (x64): Determined target file name: C:\Users\Randy\Documents\USBkey\Programs_Tools\Ketarin\..\Common\7z-x64.msi 2/17/2016 10:22:21 AM: 7-zip (x64): Checking if update is required... 2/17/2016 10:22:22 AM: 7-zip (x64): Update required, MD5 does not match 2/17/2016 10:22:22 AM: 7-zip (x64): Skipped downloading updates 2/17/2016 10:22:22 AM: Update finished Any further checks or downloads always state MD5 mismatch. I was using this about once a week to update certain files, but I can't do that if it's going to re-download many GBs of data for no reason. I hope there's a solution and I'm willing to do whatever I can to test. :-) Thanks.
  3. I can confirm that the Filehippo bug is back with the latest Beta 2 and 3. Since most of my files are from FileHippo, it takes forever to redownload them all, even though most don't have any new updates. The log just says that the MD5 doesn't match, so it downloads it. No errors. Do I have to re-create every single entry in my database to possibly fix this? That would be a pain but I guess I could try it on a few of them to test...
  4. Ditto to what Guest_Mike_* said. :-)
  5. Yea, I was wondering why most of my files decided to suddenly update themselves today even though it appeared they were exactly the same version. Thanks for the quick update. :-)
  6. Hello, I've been using Ketarin for a while now with very little issues, mainly just the FileHippo major web design change debacle and whatnot. But I found out another thing today. FileHippo is now starting, more and more, to just link to the author's website instead of having the full or offline download on their servers. The perfect example is now Google Chrome. At first I noticed that LibreOffice was having problems since they changed their download page links and whatnot. Then I saw Picasa from FileHippo was just being redirected to Google's Picasa page, so I fixed that since Google offers a direct link. But, unfortunately, Chrome is not so easy as there's no easy-to-find direct download link. All the links that are available force a pop-up which, as far as I know, won't work with Ketarin. Sure, there are technically direct links, such as "http://dl.google.com/chrome/win/29FF34C950B88A57/26.0.1410.43_chrome_installer.exe" (an older install) but where do you go to find the latest stable release via such link? Does anyone know how to fix this or is Chrome now just inoperable in Ketarin? Or maybe my skills aren't good enough to figure it out? Please, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  7. @paulderdash I've been using the update that kazso put out and it works great. Hope something similar is built into the official release. :-)
  8. Avoiding betas are still not working correctly. Just to name a few that were downloaded: Firefox: 27.0 Beta 7 Google Chrome: 34.0.1788.0 Dev uTorrent: 3.4 RC4 Not sure if those specifically or what, but there are still a few bugs somewhere... :-)
  9. This workaround is the same as creating a custom {url} and {version} if you wanted to download it directly from the creator's website. You are just using FileHippo's instead. Though that's nice, it doesn't save any time in having to redo all of the packages that use FileHippo. An update to Ketarin or a better workaround would be best, or at least easier and less time-consuming. Thanks for the tip though. :-)
  10. I have noticed this as well. First I saw FileHippo's new design, which I greatly dislike compared to their old design. The next day I tried to update my packages (almost 100 of them) and most had updates which I thought was strange. That's when I knew it was something with FileHippo. I hope there is an update sometime soon for this, or some sort of workaround, as I'd hate to have to redo most of my packages to use other sites. Thanks for your hard work and any updates. :-)
