Has anyone got any "bright" ideas how to get drivers or software from sites that are basically big bunch of javascript. For example I would like toi always get newest Win7 x64 drivers from my motherboard. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2837#dl and win 7 drivers for my Netbook. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us Problem is that "plain" drivers from HW manufacturers website doesnt contain any "optional" licensed software. For ASUS I could use FTP and version my downloads with date (which isn`t perfect, but doable). For Gigabyte, they doesnt seem to have public FTP... Also main problem is getting accurate version number...

Its not UAC issue... Win 7 doesn't detect Local Intranet properly, this is how to fix it: Open Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Security Tab Then select Local Intranet and click on Sites button, in next window open advanced and add your NAS or Network Share ip to Intranet sites. Problem solved, no more prompts. Actually this issue occures only with Home versions of Win 7, Proffesional and Ultimate detect those settings fine automatically if in Domain. Had a same problem, took me a while to figure it out Another option would be disable that "notification" via group policy editor, which unfortunately Home editions doesnt have. You cannot fix it from Ketarin side, because its a OS bug/feature, call it as you like

Okay, Ill post it to forum then, if I get home. Haven`t encountered that issue though after updating to latest b4, it started magically export fine. Same database, only updated all other files...

Error doesnt say much either, it wont just export... (No single app, no whole list) Database seems correct, restoring it from backups doesnt seem to resolve problem... Logs doesnt show also anything unusual, Updating works, Install works, only problem is that I cannot export XML...

"no comments" If you cannot even extract an simple zip archive... its better to stay away from computers... And definately Ketarin isnt app for you then...

It isnt exactly what I meant. If I would like to change them all together, I would export all.xml, edit it with notepad++ and import it to a clean ketarin. Or Directly edit database and make replace. Actually what I`m interested of is, that i could define somekind of global variable, example: {savepath} which corrsponds to: Z:\Install\Software\{category}\{appname} v.{version}.{url:ext} Then I would only change that: Z:\Install\Software\{category}\{appname} v.{version}.{url:ext} and magically all apps, that have that {savepath} in their target box, will change it too then. So instead of defining 130+ "savepaths" i would define one, globally. EDIT: Still havent found a way, maybe feature request is needed for such a functionality...

How to create such thing or is it possible at all? Its pretty annoying, if I want to change file or path-format for my 130+ apps. It would be much easier to change it in one place and all apps would have that variable in their "save to file" subsection so all it changes for all applications. Help would be: much appreciated...

Tried that, no go...unfortunately... I can capture 10.11 part , but that CAP11 part, with regex... Problem is that...they webpage content changes after every version (asp.net), so that "static match" dont work either... Ketarin updates executable, but cannot change version number...

Definately its not Competitive application. Its simple App for Simple tasks. What annoyes me personaly is that, you cannot see and control whats going on "under the hood", also if you dont use network monitoring tools, you never know where it downloads its stuff. Also you are limited to applications what they support and cannot add anything by yourself.
