  1. Isn't there such a feature already? I thought that's what the "Save as default" button is meant for.
  2. Changes: +Option to check for update only *Better regular expression for FileHippo versions *Use variables in regular expressions v2 !Fixed a NullReferenceException !Fixed backups if relative database path is specified !Fixed limitation regarding HTTP to FTP redirections 1.0.5 +Right-to-left option for regular expressions +Use 1 as exit code for failed pre-update scripts +Add POST data to URLs (for debugging purposes, use http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/test.php to display the POST and GET data which is received by the server) !Fixed a NullReferenceException Download: http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/downloads/Ketarin/Ketarin-1.0.5.zip
  3. There can certainly be differences in regular expression parsing. And if there are, I have no influence on that.
  4. I'll do, if you give me a regular expression that works for all FileHippo versions, including this one.
  5. Asking the user is way too complicated (needs to save a list and so on, as with errors).
  6. A "force update" menu entry might seem confusing. The two of them (check/download) should be enough already in my opinion. Thoughts?
  7. Nice, but I still lack an answer Now, again. Assume that there is an option for applications to disable downloading. If you start the update process, Ketarin will not download this application. What should you have to do in order to make Ketarin download the application despite the fact that the option is checked? If you *never* want to download the application, you can just as well delete it.
  8. Well, if you all want it I can certainly implement it, but be prepared for weired behaviours. I'm sure you can easily confuse yourself with dynamic regular expressions, dynamic URLs and regular expression functions. *Shivering*
  9. Erm, nope. You didn't answer my question actually. Ketarin doesn't know whether or not it is located on the "primary" PC.
  10. Assuming that such an option is set, in which case would Ketarin then actually download the file?
  11. Well, if it's a feature request that's a whole different story. I'm not too fond of it though currently.
  12. Do you actually see the same problem I see? I'm talking about the regular expression-variable "durl2". The regular expression doesn't match any content. Either you change the regex or you change the content on which you apply the regex.
  13. The regex might be fine (syntactically), but it doesn't match anything. No match = page content as result => erroneous URL.
  14. Did you ever check the variable I mentioned? You simply defined it incorrectly.
  15. The regex for durl2 does not match anything, so you can't use it.
  16. Yeah, I guess that it makes sense. Will consider that for future releases.
  17. Why don't you simply keep the temporary files instead of deleting them?
  18. You can already check for updates automatically on startup. Other than that - a scheduler - is not planned.
  19. See for example http://ketarin.canneverbe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=204
  20. You can actually use post-update commands to extract, delete or execute archives / installers.
  21. Well, I didn't say that there is no way around it, but I'm not sure yet when I'll have time to look into it.
  22. I uploaded another version now. Consider this as 1.0.3 RC @CybTekSol: Get well soon, hopefully Ketarin is able to ease your pain
